29 Jun 2011 - Nomad Walks Away with HIA AWARDS in the Pilbara

The Nomad Group enjoyed an evening of success at the recent inaugural HIA Pilbara Housing Awards. Both McGrath Homes and Rapley won two awards each, and now go into the State HIA Awards scheduled for later this year.

McGrath Homes won both the ‘Transportable/Kit Home $300,001 and over’ and ‘Transportable/Kit Home of the Year’ award for the Pilbara region, and will compete for the Transportable/Kit Home of the Year prize in the state awards. The winning design in both cases was the Pilbara NW, our display home opening mid-July in Karratha.

Rapley was nominated the “clear winner” in two categories, winning the ‘Outdoor Project of the Year’ and the prestigious ‘Innovation in Housing Project of the Year’ awards. Both awards were presented for a custom built home created by Rapley for a private client in Exmouth – and this home was also a Finalist for the ‘Custom Built Home of the Year’ award.

The awards are a tribute to the teams from both companies, who continue to grow and enhance the Group’s reputation for excellence.
